Hi Clara:

You are very welcome. Realistically, any wildlife is not going to stay in an unsuitable area, but a bird that can fly is a major issue in trying to capture and remove from an unsuitable habitat. Therefore, it has to be left to its own devices to survive. From the looks of your photo, it probably has plenty of freshwater run-off and places to eat, especially if people are dropping bread and there is some aquatic vegetation in the area.
