The bottom of the feeder was at least 6 inches above the water level with the closed cell foam keeping it at that level. I don't believe the wake from the swans would reach that height. We have since disassembled the floating system because, on inspection, the foam was being nibbled at under the water line. We weren't sure if it was our swan or the muskrats. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
