Feed in swan feeder is always wet

We bought a Blitz feed box and assembled a floating system (by attaching 8" thick closed cell foam to outside bottom of box) for our swans. The system works great, keeping the feeder at about 6" from the water surface. However, the feed is always wet, then gets moldy, because the swans drip water into the box when feeding. Any suggestions? It seems pointless to have a continuous feeder if we have to clean the wet feed out everyday.
Thanks,
Kathie
