An update; been in observation of the baby swan, never having an opportunity to capture. Today I observed the baby moving his/her leg, stretching it backward and downward. The leg moves onto the back; appears the other leg is very strong, and rolls the body slightly to that side. Yesterday he/she appeared to be standing, the leg down but no weight on it. Have not seen him walk at all. I will continue to monitor; the family still accepting - did notice some aggravation from one of the other babies a week ago, that seems to have passed.
Sadly one of the other babies has disappeared as if Tuesday.
