I have recently observed a property which had swans penned in an open area without any form of shelter. The problem lies in the fact that the ground hee is snow covered and it is well under freezing. There were no signs of human interaction ie. foot print or car tire tracks in the snow which would indicate that someone was feeding these beautiful creatures. I was sick all nigh thinking about these neglected birds. Who can I contact to protect these animals? The birds are located in Barrington, IL on a large parcel of land which is not clearly visible from the road. There must be some animal rights group here that would like to know about this situation.
