Hi Delaney:
We apologize for the delay in getting back to you, but our veterinarians have been traveling recently. Dr. Gardner stated that it was hard to make a diagnosis from the photo. He suggested that you take the goose to an avian vet and see if they can take a minute scraping from the spots to submit to a lab. This should be a nominal fee. If it is bacterial, fungal or viral in origin, the lab will offer the results to your veterinarian an if applicable, an appropiate antibiotic or anti-fungal drug may be prescribed. Please let us know if the spots have cleared or if you have noticed the goose coming in contact with any hard surfaces which may have scraped the beak. The Regal Swan
