Unhatched mute swan eggs
I regularly visit the pair of mute swans living in a near by pond. Every year their babys hatch by the end of May. This year I noticed both the male and female are still taking turns sitting on the nest and there are no babies. It is the end of June and all the other area swan babies are about 4 to 6 weeks old. Could there still be unhatched eggs in the nest? Do you have any idea what is going on?
Sincerely,
Diane Fortner
