Hi Steve:

You are very welcome. Have you checked the nest to see if there are eggs under the swan? If there are, the swan may stand up to protect them as you near the nest. If you can't see eggs, then the nest may be a male or juvenile that is "nesting" for the season. Again, once the hormones go back to normal, the swan will leave the nest and go back to its normal daily routine. Please let us know how this situation progresses. The Regal Swan
