Hello. The 1 lone swan has been sitting at the old nest area for at least 2 weeks. Head down when I see it. Every time I drive by, it is in exact same spot, position. 1 time I saw the head go up. I can not get close to it. Any chance there are eggs there even though another swan is not present? Almost a year since the other swan disappeared. Is it normal for the mate to fly away and come back? Like said earlier, waiting for a mate? Wouldn't it still
swim around and eat?
Thanks
