Thank you SO much for your quick reply. I am thinking that it is something worse than a sprain from sitting too long, but can't be certain. I KNOW that she IS able to get up to the water and drink and preen as we watched her do this... You could see that it was quick "bent" and definitely tell it was "painful", but as I said she could and did get up, so that being said, I am thinking I should let her heal w/out intervention unless I notice something else later on.

I did do some research and know that the bread is not nutritional and would like to feed them something better.... Where can I purchase the poultry layer pellets/cracked corn? We have an agricultural type store up the road. I will try there. Thanks again for all of your help. This is a wonderful site!
