Thank you, I'll give them a call after Labor Day. I would prefer an adult female who has lost her mate too but may consider a younger female although it concerns me that the male might be aggressive towards a young female that is not old enough to mate.

What are your thoughts of raising a cygnet to later pair with this mature male?
