I believe this swan survived. He was at my dock for about a week and had since moved on. Whats troubling now is that the mute swans on Irondequoit Bay are dying. I have counted at least 10. Is this weather related? Are they not able to find food and dying of starvation? Or could it be something else? There are hundreds of dead "divers" all over. Could ut be a disease. Its so sad and heartbreaking to see these beautiful swans laying on the ice
