As an update...this morning the more aggressive of the two "new" swans caught Carl and was attempting to drown him. I was able to intervene so that Carl could escape from under the weight of this big brute and get some air. The two new swans slept in front of my dock last night and caught Carl as he was sauntering to my house for breakfast. Help! How do I make these two go away? Carl is old and cannot fly totally in the air-he drags one foot in the water, nor can he walk very well. He has bumblefoot and the webbing of the same foot is severed at the middle digit.
