New swans in the lake

Hello,
I've messaged several times regarding my lone mute swan, Carl, who lives in "my" cove of a 550 acre lake. There are eight swans inhabiting the lake, and I believe I am able to discern "who is who." However, today there were two swans at my dock that I had never seen before. A friend who lives at the other end of the lake told me that her neighbor saw a "huddle" of 15 swans on the lake late last week. Is it possible that these 15 just migrated to our lake? What is the process when this scenario occurs? I am concerned that Carl may be in trouble. He has been "picked on" by every swan but one of the seven who are lake residents, so I have adopted him. He rarely strays from my cove and typically stays within 100 yards of my property, as I feed him and have protected him from the others on many occassions. The two swans that arrived at my dock/yard today are extremely aggressive toward him, as well as me, when I intervened on their chase today. They forced Carl into my yard and stayed at my dock vitually all day. If I feed Carl, they chase him away from the food and eat it themselves. What do you suggest I do? I don't want them hanging around since they are aggressive toward Carl, yet I know that Carl is certainly accustomed to my feeding him twice per day. Thanks in advance for your advice!
