There are about 10 houses on our small lake and these are wild swans. Most of our lots have a good sized clearing for our beaches. Our area isn't really any better per say than any one elses. Also, they go to our neighbors yard as well. I think part of it is, our house was vacant the summer before we moved in so they probably didn't see much activity around that yard. I will try the fence, but I really don't want to start putting food out there and have them come around even more. They are beautiful to look at, but they make a horrible mess on our lawn and beach.
