It might be late for Valentine’s Day, and a bit early for their first anniversary (April 28), but Tristan and Isolde are carrying on in honeymoon style! Almost daily, visitors to Lost Lagoon are treated to our youngsters’ courting ritual of ballet-like movements, accompanied by musical sounds to each other as they sway, turning their heads back and forth, then make a "heart.”

What fun to compare this picture with April 2006 and the sight of our Tristan snapping at poor little Isolde on her first day after arrival at the lagoon, following her rescue from Victoria. Still, as they grew closer over that week, it was clear that Tristan knew a quality lady when he found one, and they’ve been mates ever since!
