I like the kiddie pool idea but what do you mean hurt their legs? I have a wash rack in my barn for the horses and would be a good place to wash or bath the Swans. The kidde pools that i have seen, the edges are only about 6 in. high, can they damage their legs by steping into the Pool? If so, does that mean their legs are very easy to damage? I have a pond with a fountain in the middle, I found an airator that i can purchase to keep the water open to the shore, i really would like to leave them in the open water for the winter if possible. I am afraid to put them in the barn for fear of other animals like my dog or cat. I guess I could supervise them when they wash themselves and put them back into this large pen that I have to keep them safe. The pen is about 3ft X 6ft, not real large but probably big enough.
