I would like to have swans on our large remote and rural farm.We have 4 Pyrenees who are bird guarding trained.There are 2 ponds at present,more coming on our 50 acre farm.I would love to rescue birds in need,but my vet is trying to discourage me for safety reasons.So my question is how smart is it or feasible to raise cygnets by hand and have them bond to me? I also still desire to rescue swans and perhaps place them on a pond out of view of pond near home.Will they bond to humans as do geese?
