Thank you for the info .... it was helpful ...! The local avian vet doesn't do house calls and I'm not sure I want to traumatize Conrad to a car ride so I am seeking alternative ideas for sexing.
Have you had any feedback or have any opinion about www.dnasexing.com regarding dna on freshly plucked feathers? This seems like a low-cost (and stress), high accuracy way to do this, but I found it on the internet and you never know what you're finding out there.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. And I really want to buy your book, I am sure it is very helpful, and I've heard very good things about it. But it is a bit expensive (though I am sure worth every penny) and I will need to wait and put it on my Christmas list ....
Plus we just learned our "deposit" for a September mate won't happen. We will still be seeking a mate, as soon as we know the sex. THANK YOU!!!
