I am so beside myself.... I had written a while back about being new owners for Conrad. We came home today and found his right foot and webbing all mangled and torn and though he tries to walk he falls. According to my neighbors he was in the water earlier today, but he hasn't eaten and I STILL cannot get close to him (though I was able to get close enough to pour some peroxide on it - i was worried because it's attracting a lot of flies. Can he survive with this injury? Can it heal? what else can I do? We haven't built the pen yet, but my husband said he'd try tomorrow and maybe if I am lucky enough I can catch him and at least keep him in there. I am so distraught. I love this little guy and I want to do whats right. The local vet does NOT make house calls nor is she really friendly....
Any advice? THANK YOU!
