A couple of mute swans just landed in our 1.5 acre pond about 1 month ago. They seem to jump from our pond to the one next door. we would like to persuade them to stick around, but really dont know how to go about doing that. Any suggestions?

I have fed cracked corn and they seem to like that, I am hoping that maybe they will make this a new home. We have been here for about 11 years and have never even seen one, so I am not sure what brought them or how to make them stay.
