Hello Regal Swan, thank you so much for your reply. Hartford is about 1 hour from where I live. There is only one swan left now that I can see. That is why I wonder if it can survive on its own without company.

I wish this group was coming here--I'll wait this weekend out and then I'll contact some local groups and the state dam engineers to see who is responsible for this area wildlife. I sure wish you were here, I feel so bad for this solo swan. Debra
