Thank you so much for your quick response. The swan has a (orange beak) so I am guessing it is a mute swan. Any information you can give regarding it will be wonderful.
I assume it can fly as no one on our pond has said anything about putting it here. I haven't seen it fly though.
What kind of supplemental food can we provide?
If the bird requires a lot of maintenance, I doubt any of the residence on the pond will help in the expense, should we ignore it and hope that it finds a good home?
