We have a swan that was coaxed into our pond after my husband saw her in a corn field with and injured bloody wing. Now she is plucking her feathers because we see her swimming without problems of the wing. She was once one of two this summer and now she continues to act tame and lonely. What should we do with her when the weather gets very cold in the Illinois's midwest region?
