Hi Marc:
No, the black swan is indigenous to Australia. Therefore, even though they may be bred by swan breeders for usage on various ponds and lakes as an adornment in the U.S., they are considered an exotic animal (non-native species). No swan species is considered a domestic species in the U.S. The birds are either considered wild waterfowl or an exotic captive species.
