Hi Anisha:

Hopefully, the swans will kick these eggs out of the nest quickly. The only species that we can think of that lay eggs around water habitats would be turtles or snakes. To have either of these species hatch would be extremely detrimental to the parents and the cygnets.

If you can safely, remove the smaller eggs from the nest while the swans take a break, then it would be a really good thing. Please educate the youngsters that even though they meant well, interfering with nature and reintroducing one species into another species nest is not something that will work out positively for either. Please let us know if you or the swans got rid of these eggs. The Regal Swan
