I live on a lake and there are quite a few swans nesting right now... There were some kids that saw a crow stealing eggs out of a hole that was in the ground... The kids didn't want the crow to keep getting the eggs so they took the eggs out and thought they would be safer and have more of a chance in a swans nest... with the kids putting random eggs in a swans nest what will the swan do??? She wont neglect her eggs will she??? is it possible that she will lay on the random eggs and care for them as her own???
