I found a pair of muted swans on Craigs List for $100 and dontated them to our local Camp Timblane in behalf of our Girlscout troop. They now have 6 acres of lake to live and swim and with winter coming up we were wondering if their is anything we should do for them to help them survive the upcoming winter months? Their is a wooden platform out on the lake and the lake is kept from becoming completely frozen. Do we need to build them shelter on the platform. Would be greatful for any imformation you might share with us.
