Just wanted to send you a quick update on a happy ending. The goose was seen by a vet and will stay indoors while with an antibiotic ointment on the protruding bone tip. He is very calm and at home, chasing the dogs and cats. The sanctuary has another canada goose with a broken wing on its pond. I can only hope they are of opposite genders -:))). Thanks a lot again for your advice!
