Let me start by saying I know very little about swans. I'm just a bit concerned because I drive by a cemetery near my home in Illinois all the time which contains a small enclosed pond with two white swans. I don't know how well swans handle winter weather but this winter has been particularly rough, with temperatures consistently WELL below freezing. I can't say for sure what happens to them at night but they're out there all day everyday in that frozen pond and it makes me feel bad. Are they ok out there in this weather or should I contact someone and report this? Thanks.
