I have noticed over the past months, a swan that had lost its mate. I had watched this pair for about 2 years and also, when they had raised their kids. They seemed like very, good parents.

Recently, I started to notice a goose often close to this swan and brushed it off as coincidence, but today, as I was walking in this park and looking at the swan, I noticed a goose swimming close to it. This poor swan seems to be making a nest now also. My question is this: can this goose be 'befriending' this swan or even be interested as a suitor!?
