Swan nesting in blizzard, covered in snow

the pair of swans on our neighborhood lake are new at nesting. The mom swan just laid eggs a few days ago. We are now having snow storm and high winds. Will the mom stay on the nest? She is getting covered in snow. Papa just went into the lake. This is April 2nd....very unexpected storm
