Yes, I am sure the male is a Trumpeter, and I've always been told he is a male, but I have no idea how to tell that for sure. He has been around the same place for 5 years. The girl was brought in last year. She is the mute swan. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been any other swans in the area. They were brought in from across town at a park where there are other swans. Those are the only ones I have ever seen in this area. I live in the middle of Nebraska. When will she figure out that her eggs are non-viable? Shouldn't they start stinking soon?
