You, your neighbors, friends and social media contacts need to start a media blitz, just as was done in New York, contact your state and federal representatives, senators, congressmen and wildlife officials to notify them that you do not want your taxpayer monies to be used to eradicate or eliminate the Mute Swan species, especially at the cost of reintroducing the Trumpeter Swans for hunting purposes. Furthermore, all swans in your state should be protected (and placed back on) the Federal Migratory Bird Act and no hunting allowed, especially canned hunts or trophy waterfowl hunting specifically targeted at Trumpeter Swans.
