Re: Swan Behavior after Mate Passes
In Response To: Re: Swan Behavior after Mate Passes (The Regal Swan)
To The Regal Swan,
I am having a similar issue to Marilyn's: I have an older male, and a new female swan has been introduced to the pond on my property by charitable donation. They seem somewhat aggressive toward one another. Should I be doing much like Marilyn did in the posting previous to yours here? Or, since they are instinctively wild animals, not house pets, should I let just allow nature to take its course? I guess in other words, is it your professional opinion to leave them be, rather than get involved at all in their behavior and actions?
Thanks!
