In Response To: nest fences (Stephen)

I had forgotten after 3 nesting seasons of not doing the fence the ignorance and disrespect of people towards the swans. Parents allow their young children to pull and tug on the fencing. Somehow pushing on the fence will make a difference. Food is thrown on the nest attracting rats. I'm just about ready to walk away and let the lousy fencing they had before. I will be so happy when the swans are gone.
