Hello Sonia,

Around Easter, one or two people thought they saw a swan - they were quite sure: it was white and rather large - floating pot belly/legs up in the middle of the Lagoon. Then, nothing...

We believe that she died a natural death. We never heard that she had been hit by a car or killed by a coyotee/dog/raccoon and her body was never found. The frequent visitors to the Lagoon were saddened, of course, and will be touched by your inquiry.

FYI: There is a dramatic close-up picture of Mrs P on the site http://www.2010cards.com at the link below that shows the scar on her head and the damage to her left eye.
