Just spoke to Ziggy early this morning. The veterinarian, Dr MacDonald, thinks that the new swan is a female; they will test the new swan's DNA to make sure. If it is a female, Ziggy would like to call her Isolde in hope that she will pair with Tristan.

She is not ready to be released to the Lagoon yet; it is a matter of days.

Precious will be released as soon as possible (as mentioned in my previous post). Ziggy is aware of the behavior of one of the Brothers and will pay special attention; he might have to be taken away from the Lagoon for a few days also if he is too aggressive towards the new swan.
