Good news for now. The Brother swan who was very sick last week has been recovering nicely under the excellent care of Dr. MacDonald. He is now able to eat on his own and to stand up a bit. If the recovery continues, he will spend some time in convalescence after leaving the hospital because he has to be VERY strong before returning to the Lagoon at this time of the year when the swans are more aggressive during the mating and nesting season.

We will never know what made him sick.

His recovery is considered a miracle because he was in real bad shape last week and we were expecting the worst.
