In Response To: Swan Nest-Building 2007 – Part 2 (Precious Stands (Sits) Guard)

The nest is still in its early stages, and little Marlika had decided to take time out and enjoy some quiet moments on the far side of the wetlands - but no matter, Precious figured it’s time to “warm up” for his annual Sentinel Duty on the road bordering the wetlands, and there he was this evening, front-and-centre, regally granting his permission to walk past.

He’ll soon be there daily, proudly surveying his little kingdom and guarding the safety of mother, nest and eggs. Say “hello” to him if you’re down at the lagoon, and happen to pass by!
