Young Tristan and Isolde are still the “honeymoon couple” of Lost Lagoon, courting each day. Visitors look for them, nearly always together, hoping to see them making a heart as they often do. “How romantic,” people say. But what a surprise today brought!

We’re all used to seeing pretty little pens (female swans) fluffed up, flirting for all they’re worth, while their mate is more often than not, giving his real attention to … what else? …… FOOD!

Today, Isolde turned the tables and cleared up some of that prejudice on our part! They were a pretty sight, two snowy swans facing each other, making a perfect heart, when Isolde, whose mind was certainly not where we thought….spotted a tasty morsel submerged in the water, and did a quick swan-dive to recover the juicy temptation, nudging Tristan out of the way, while he sat still frozen in his half of the heart!
