I went back to the lagoon around 5 pm. Our four new little swans were all together enjoying a swim with the youngsters Tristan and Isolde, while Precious, Marlika and Junior were also nearby.

On my way back, as I reached the end of the concrete area, Boy popped up in his old spot.... so we had a fine old conversation - he was looking very grand, all fluffed up and proud. No chasing at all!

Mama and Papa Swan were over on their side, and all was calm. If things continue to go this well, it will be sooooo good!

Funny thing happened today while Precious was enjoying a dive to locate goodies from the bottom of the lagoon, a female mallard duck came up behind him and bit him right on the bum - he shot up like a rocket, and I almost fell over laughing (only not too loud , so he wouldn't hear Ducks are beneath his contempt, so he didn't bother to chase her.
