I have just seen your stories on swans. I would like to tell you about something i felt would never happen. I live near a wildlife area with a lovely pond there are two swans male and female. The female is sitting on her eggs right now and seldom moves. I have built up a beautiful friendship with the male swan, he comes out of the water and takes food from my hand, he is very gentle. The other day i could not see him when i went to feed him, and all of a sudden i was walking along when i heard this call overhead i looked up and there he was flying ahead of me, i carried on walking and there he was when i turned the corner he was in water that he does not normally swim in; i called him and he swam to me. It was really lovely how wonderful nature is. MARY.
