In Response To: Re: Will Trumpeter Stay? (The Regal Swan)

Hi Aelise

This situation could go either way. He should have left because of migration and his parents chasing. To return, means the familiarity and liking of the habitat due to good food resources or other positive attributes. If he should hear another swan ( opposite gender) the swan could leave or invite the other swan to the habitat. If the parents return, he will most likely be chased from the area. So this will be interesting to see how this scenario plays out. There are too many possibilities to even try and predict. The Regal Swan
