Just a couple questions.

First one pertains to a trio of swans, one which doesn't seem to be fully grown yet. It's almost spring, so I was wondering why it has come back with its parents, and why it hasn't got the boot from its parents.

Second one, the three of them were swimming up river with dad in the lead, and there was a Canadian goose coming from the other direction, seemingly towards them. The dad quickly started swimming back the way they were coming from, with the other two trailing. When i looked back at where the goose was, it was gone, and the dad turned yet again to head back up. I was wondering what the possible reason was for the quick turn arounds.
