We had a pair of swans nesting, they had 4 eggs that hatched (not sure how many were in the nest) this past weekend... from what i can see the adult swans and 3 of the babies are swimming around with 1 of the babies left in the nest... it has been in the same spot since sunday not moving..... I assume it didn't make it... I don't want to disturb the nest as they are beautiful and i want them to come back but the thought of the baby just laying there and some animal coming to eat it makes me sad.. would it be ok to go get him and bury him or will that make the swans not come back?? I don't want it to start decomposing and some other animal coming to get it and possible hurting the swans and her surviving babies.. What should I do...
thanks
