In Response To: Swan left family (Rob)

We have a family of 6 Swans and one of them has recently left. We saw one that we believe to the him/her in a field about a mile away from the ponds that the reside in. Will the swan return to it's original ponds? If not, will the swan be OK and survive on it's own?
