In Response To: Cygnet left on its own (Sarah)

Hi,
I'm a dog walker and regularly walk along the Oxford canal throughout the summer and there has been a family of swans 7 cygnets causing havoc. However over the last 3 days the family has disappeared except 1 cygnet who looks very dejected and is calling all the time. Is this normal and is there anything I can do to help the cygnet (he is just starting to get a few white feathers).
