Swan Containment

It looks like we here at Valle Vista are going to take a serious look at building a treated lumber wall to contain our Swans from exiting our pond in certain areas. As mentioned in our last inquiry, we are thinking of a wall 2 foot high. In your reply, you didn't say if you felt 2 foot would be high enough.

Also, the grassy area where the Swans would be allowed to exit the pond, do you have a suggestion as to the minimum size that area should be? Would a 20' x 30' grassy area be large enough? This would be the only area that the Swans would have to "roam" outside of the pond itself. (This area would be fenced in order to contain the swans either to the pond or grassy area)

Would the fence around the grassy area have to be high enough so the swans could not see over? Say 36" to 42" high?

Sorry for all the questions.
