I have a pair of white mute swans that I have had for three years. They are not the original pair, the male of the original pair died three years ago so I had him replaced. They are both around five years old and I have never had a problem with them. This year, they have started fighting each other and I am wondering if I may have two males instead of a male and a female. Will a male and female swan fight if there is no other swans around to compete with?
